The 31 Day Word Diet

Pastor Dean Shropshire left secular employment over 27 years ago to pursue the call of God on his life. Together with his wife Kathy, they pioneered chooselife CHURCH in Hobbs, NM. They held their first service on Easter in 1989. 

Pastor Dean preaches a message of hope, restoration, and change that stems from knowing the character of God and its revelation manifested through the life of Jesus. 

As an extension of Dean Shropshire Ministries, Pastor Dean and the staff of chooselife CHURCH inaugurated DEEP Bible Training Center in 2007 which offers three levels of learning for believers from any background or stage of spiritual development. 

Pastor Dean's desire is for believers to understand God is for them, the Word of God works, and they can live out the abundant life that Jesus paid for them to have. His wife of over 37 years, Kathy, his two daughters Charity and Faith, and son-in-law Greg, join Pastor Dean in the ministry. 

In his spare time, Pastor Dean enjoys reading, shopping with his family, and cheering for the Yankees.
